Overview

The School of Business offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) online. The program is designed for students with a bachelor level degree in business or a related field. Mirroring the practice of successful organizations, our MBA program emulates the business environment, emphasizing practical knowledge and technological skills that can be put to immediate use. The MBA program is based upon 37 credits of graduate level courses. Program Description

The MBA degree program is designed to meet the student’s educational needs by offering a quality advanced degree that will provide the student with the tools that are needed to succeed as a leader in today’s business world. The primary goal of the program is to provide both practical and hands-on experience and offer opportunities to network with business leaders within the world community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I complete my degree faster?

The short answer is yes. The long answer is the majority of our students are working professionals with full time jobs and other work and life responsibilities and our timeline estimates are based on this demographic. Full time students may be able to complete programs more quickly if they are able to dedicate the time to studying and completing classes.

Admission Requirements

  1. Possess a baccalaureate degree awarded by Institutions accredited by agencies that are recognized by the United States Secretary of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or, for no-U.S. Institutions, an accepted foreign equivalent that is listed in the International Handbook of Universities (current edition).
  2. Undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent from an international institution.
  3. Graduate courses with grade of B or higher (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) from an Institution as defined above can be considered for transfer. A maximum of 18 credits can be transferred into the master’s level program.
  4. Copy of government ID and Résumé or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  5. Successfully complete the AU Orientation Program Class

CONDITIONAL STATUS GRADUATE LEVEL

Master’s applicants who cannot meet the above requirements may petition to be accepted on a conditional basis. If accepted, the student will be permitted to take a maximum of four courses in a Conditional Acceptance status. The student must achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of the four courses. If the student’s GPA is lower than the required 3.0 at the end of the four courses, the student’s status will be changed to Terminated and the student can no longer take classes.

APPLICANTS WHOSE NATIVE LANGUAGE IS OTHER THAN ENGLISH

All programs at APOLLOS are taught strictly in English. Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not earned a degree from an appropriately accredited institution where English is the principal language of instruction must demonstrate college-level proficiency in English through one of the following:

  1. Test of English As a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Test (IELTS) o Master’s Degree: A minimum score of 530 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT) or 71 on the Internet Based Test (iBT), 6.5 on the International English Language Test (IELTS) or 50 on the PTE** Academic Score Report;
  2. A minimum grade of Level 3 on the ACT COMPASS’s English as a Second Language Placement Test;
  3. A minimum grade of Pre-1 on the Eiken English Proficiency Exam; 
  4. A minimum B2 English proficiency level identified within the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards and assessed through various ESOL examinations, including the University of Cambridge;
  5. A transcript indicating completion of at least 30 semester hours of credit with an average grade of “B” or higher at an appropriately* accredited college or university where the language of instruction was English.

Graduation Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA) DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

The MBA program requires successful completion of a minimum of 37 Credits, which includes the final capstone course.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
1. To qualify for graduation with a MBA, the student must successfully fulfill all of the following requirements:

3. Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better for all graduate level coursework applying toward the degree.
4. Pay all tuition and fees.

Affordable & Flexible Payment Options

Beside the affordable & flexible payment options that Apollos offerred, there're also several options available.

  • Employer Payment Plan

    Under this plan, the student works with their organization to establish billing and payment parameters where the organization pays for part or all of the student’s tuition and fees.

  • Private Loan Plans

    Under this plan, the student works with their organization to establish billing and payment parameters where the organization pays for part or all of the student’s tuition and fees.

  • External Scholarship Plan

    Under this plan, the student works on their behalf to foster external scholarships to help pay for tuition and related materials. Courses will typically not be authorized to take until External Scholarship funding is accepted by Apollos.

  • Organizational Tuition Reimbursement Plan

    Under this plan, the student works with their organizations Human Resources department to pay for outstanding tuition and fees. This requires the student put a credit card on file. Apollos will offer the student a 60-day deferment from the 1st day of billing after which the credit card will be charged if payment has not been received. Apollos will provide the student supporting documentation such as a receipt and/or invoice for courses as well as grade card needed to supply Human Resources with proof of attendance.

  • Tribal Aid Plan

    Under this plan, the student must have established lines with the tribe in question. A voucher or payment will be required with terms 90-days net from the first date of billing.

Pay as class(es) are taken
I will be billed when I register for new classes and pays full price of the class before the class starts.

Option II

Pay in two equal payments as I register for a class(es)
I will be billed when I register for a new class(es) and will pay one half (1/2) of the tuition and any fees upon registration. The second half will be paid 30 days later. No interest will be charged on the unpaid balance.

Option IV

Initial $300 payment with monthly payments of $300
Make a down payment of $300.00 toward the total tuition for the program in a single payment by the date of acceptance. The remaining balance will be paid at $300.00 per month, beginning one month from the official enrollment date. No interest will be charged on the unpaid balance.
